One of the key people at Jeep who were responsible for creating the legendary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has passed away. Michael Gabriel was the force behind getting the concept past the beancounters at Jeep with the original TJ Wrangler Rubicon.
Mike Gabriel began his 41-year career with Chrysler in 1969. He passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011. He was 65. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia. Survivors include his children, Danielle and Matthew.
