Jeep Club Profile - Victorian Military Vehicle Corps - 50th Anniversary

April 2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the V.M.V.C. It was in January of 1961 that some Jeep owners placed advertisements in newspapers with the intention of forming a group interested in collecting ex-military vehicles. As a result, the Corps was formed in April of that year, on the 20TH anniversary of the siege of Tobruk and according to research; the Corps is the first such group of its kind formed in the world.

The club celebrated the year of the Jeep in 2010 and has a very impressive website that features many of the Jeeps and military vehicles in the club. http://www.vmvc.org.au/
