Park Rangers Recognised By 4WD Community

Four Wheel Drive Victoria thank Parks Victoria & DSE Rangers on World Ranger Day 
Four Wheel Drive Victoria, the peak body representing over 70 affiliated 4WD Clubs, congratulates and recognises the vital work of hundreds of Parks Victoria and DSE Rangers on 31 July 2011, World Ranger Day.   
The 15,000 club members and families from metropolitan and regional Victoria regularly visit, camp and explore Victoria’s National and State Parks, often discovering special environments in remote locations.  

Club members particularly appreciate the difficult work that Rangers face fighting fires, along with the enormous reconstruction efforts required afterwards, while all the time managing the flooding of Parks and campgrounds, monitoring and repairing vandalised property to provide access for visitors.More Information here ....
