The Melbourne Jeep Owners Club in conjunction with Double Black Offroad will be conducting a Go Topless Day on the 1st of December in a campaign to raise awareness and funds for Anaphylaxis and Allergies Australia.
We will be having our doors off and roof off, driving in convoy along Beach Rd and the majestic Chapel St for this cause. Why? Thousands worldwide are affected by food allergies and many have died. My son for example,
is allergic to nuts, dairy, egg, fish and seeds. Your diet changes dramatically. Dining out is nearly impossible. Your lifestyle changes. A simple kiss on the cheek of my son could lead to a major reaction if someone
has eaten something he is allergic to.
Funds raised will be donated to Allergy and Anaphylaxis Australia

The cruise will commence at 9am sharp from Double Black Offroad in Moorabbin. Breakfast will be served from 7.30am which will consist of a sausage sizzle and crepes and coffee thanks to Buzzbox and Le Crepe Downunder.
We aim to be back in Moorabbin at 12 for lunch which will be same plus a Gyros on the spit provide by DBOR.
Want to be part of this historic event? Want to be in a drive with your fellow Jeepers doing your bit for charity?
Registration forms are being drawn up and will be available soon. Follow us on Facebook here:

New JK Wrangler Snorkel From AEV
AEV is proud to announce the release of the second generation JK Snorkel.
This redesigned Snorkel is now available for all 2007+ JK models, including 2012+ JK Wrangler's equipped with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. The second generation JK Snorkel features a significantly larger 4" air inlet tube diameter for increased air flow to satisfy the requirements of the 3.6L Pentastar V6, 3.8L V6 and 2.8L CRD diesel engines as well as the 6.4L HEMI and 5.7L HEMI V8 engines when used in conjunction with the AEV HEMI Airbox Kit. The shape of the air intake tube on the JK Snorkel has also been redesigned to compliment the contours of the JK's body.
The AEV JK Snorkel now comes standard with an Air Ram inlet, which is designed to draw in fresh air and separate rain water from the air charge. It is incredibly rugged and well suited for wooded terrain where impacts with trees and branches are likely.

Jeep Recall Effects 919,545 Jeeps World Wide!
Chrysler is recalling 919,545 WG Jeep Grand Cherokee and KJ Liberty / Cherokee SUVs from model years 2002 through 2004 because a part in airbag control modules may fail, according to documents filed with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Chrysler.
A failure of that module could cause the front airbags or side curtain airbags to deploy inadvertently while the SUVs are being operated, increasing the risk of injury or accident, according to NHTSA documents
Chrysler's dealers will install a supplemental jumper harness to the airbag control module at no cost to owners. The recall is expected to begin in January.
The recall does effect vehicles sold in Australia and Chrysler will advise owners of the recall when parts become available.
